A sweet and savory maple marinade with just the right smoky kick… These BBQ chicken skewers are absolutely irresistible! 🍁🔥
Ingredients
For the chicken

2 tbsp Dijon mustard

1/4 cup olive oil

2 tbsp apple cider vinegar

1 tbsp pure maple syrup

3 lbs boneless, skinless chicken thighs, cut into bite-sized pieces
For the glaze (optional but delicious)

4 tbsp unsalted butter
-
2 tbsp pure maple syrup
-
1/2 tsp salt
-
2 tsp apple cider vinegar
Preparation
1. Marinate the chicken
In a large bowl, combine the mustard, olive oil, apple cider vinegar, Maple Grillhouse Seasoning A Spice Affair, and maple syrup.
Add the chicken pieces, toss well to coat, cover, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
2. Prepare the glaze
In a small saucepan, combine the butter, maple syrup, Maple Grillhouse Seasoning A Spice Affair, and apple cider vinegar.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until slightly thickened. Set aside.
3. Grill the chicken
Thread the marinated chicken onto skewers.
Grill at 375 °F for 15 to 18 minutes, turning halfway through.
Near the end, brush the chicken thoroughly with the glaze.
Remove from heat and let rest for a few minutes.
4. Serve
Reheat the remaining glaze on low heat.
Serve the skewers over garlic basmati rice, drizzled with the remaining glaze, and grilled lemon wedges. Enjoy!
