How to Make Brownana (4 Corners Swirl Method)

Preheat and prep
Preheat your oven to the temperature listed on the back of both pouches. Grease or line your baking dish. -
Make the brownie batter
In one bowl, prepare The Spice Age Brownie Mix exactly as the pouch says. -
Make the banana bread batter
In a second bowl, prepare The Spice Age Banana Bread Mix exactly as the pouch says. -
Pour using the 4 corners method
Pour brownie batter into two opposite corners of the pan.
Pour banana bread batter into the other two corners. -
Swirl
Use a butter knife to gently swirl the batters together. Do not overmix or you will lose the swirl look. -
Add walnuts (optional)
Sprinkle walnuts over top and lightly press a few into the batter. -
Bake
Bake for about 35 minutes, then do the toothpick test in the center. If it comes out clean, it is done. If not, bake a few more minutes and test again. Every oven is a little different. -
Cool and slice
